Man pleads guilty to fatal DUI crash (Bennington Banner) BENNINGTON — A North Adams, Mass., man pleaded guilty Thursday in Bennington County District Court to charges relating to a May 25, 2006, DUI crash that led to a fatality.
Saturday, March 10th:
Man convicted of DUI gets additional charge while awaiting trial (Naples Daily News) A decade ago, he killed a friend in a Pennsylvania crash after a night of drinking and pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter. Since that crash, 31-year-old Michael Sarajian robbed two South Carolina convenience stores “to support a drug habit” and was stopped three times on DUI charges in Collier County.
Friday, March 9th:
Man faces charges for 12th DUI (KOMO Seattle) Charles Sorenson was in court Thursday answering to drunk driving charges for the 12th time in his life, but he only faces a few months in jail if convicted. But if he does it again come July 1st after the new felony DUI law goes into effect, a jail sentence would be much longer.
Thursday, March 8th:
House panel kills DUI bill (Rocky Mountain News) Lawmakers Wednesday killed a bill to toughen drunken-driving penalties, saying they first want a new task force to review Colorado's patchwork of DUI laws.
Wednesday, March 7th:
DUI checkpoints to be ID'd (The Cincinnati Enquirer) Butler County law-enforcement officers plan to announce today where they will hold a DUI checkpoint tonight.
Tuesday, March 6th:
Councilwoman Facing DUI Hospitalized After Drug Overdose (WSB-TV 2 Atlanta) Police released a videotape of Gibson's arrested on DUI charges.
Monday, March 5th:
Teen driver is charged with DUI-manslaughter (St. Petersburg Times) DUNEDIN - A Belleair Beach teenager was arrested Friday on a DUI-manslaughter charge in connection with a Nov. 25 crash that killed a 74-year-old man.
