SIERRA VISTA - Southeastern DUI Task Force personnel remind the driving public of the dangers of drunken driving. The task force also will be extra watchful for violators over the Labor Day weekend.

Meanwhile, the New Port Richey Police Department is conducting a DUI Crash investigation in a Thursday accident. According to New Port Richey police, 81-year-old Jack Nelms hit the rear of another vehicle while driving on Main Street.

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- Authorities said they arrested an 81-year-old on a DUI charge after he hit two people in New Port Richey. Jack Nelms is charged with driving under the influence. Authorities said he careened through the downtown area Thursday and hit two constructions workers.
