Sep 14, 2007 — A checkpoint by the Southcentral Pennsylvania Regional DUI Taskforce resulted in several arrests in York County in August. The checkpoints were held Aug. 24-25, officials said. The effort netted 13 DUI arrests, five warnings and 15 other traffic citations, according to a news release.

Normally if someone is caught and charged with a DUI they are put in jail and then face treatment options that do not always succeed. But for the last few years, Forsyth County along with many other counties in Georgia is trying something different by sending DUI offenders to DUI Court at the Forsyth County Courthouse.
