Police agencies on Monday will wrap up the statewide Labor Day Weekend Holiday DUI Task Force. As of Sunday, officials said 776 people had been arrested.
This year there have been six DUI arrests in Yakima County from the state patrol. Only three in the Tri-Cities-Walla Walla area. But staff at the state patrol say, the weekend is not over.
A Dawson Road woman was arrested and jailed on a DUI charge after a Princeton police investigation Thursday evening. Officers stopped a 1996 Chevrolet driven by Brandi G. Hawkins, 25, at about 6:17 p.m. after receiving a complaint that she was possibly driving while intoxicated.
