Rangers at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park are conducting driver sobriety checks. On the evening of Sept. 1, the rangers set up a DUI checkpoint on Crater Rim Drive near the park's entrance station.
A Lexington man was injured in a one-vehicle collision Sunday and charged with DUI after he received medical treatment. According to a report filed by Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Rodney Cox, Michael Harvey, 49, of 2170 Fort Harrods Drive was driving a 1987 Chrysler on KY 210 at about 10 p.m.
