The Southern Arizona DUI task force made 46 misdemeanor and 4 felony drunk driving arrests during the first two days of the holiday weekend. 31 of the misdemeanor violations took place on August 29, and 15 happened August 30. Of the fifty people arrested, 11 of them are charged with Extreme DUI for having a blood alcohol count of .15 or above.

The Southern Arizona DUI Task Force made a total of 63 drunken driving arrests during the three-day holiday weekend. Fifty-eight of those arrested were charged with misdemeanors, while the other five face felony charges.
