A northwest suburban police officer has been placed on leave after she was charged with speeding and drunken driving in Grant Township.

A mother accused of driving drunk with her 4-year-old child in the car was back in court on Thursday. Natasha Rivera has been in jail since she was arrested on New Year's. This is Rivera's fourth DUI arrest in the last 14 months. On Oct. 13, she was arrested for her third DUI, and she was on probation for another arrest.
