The former head of Utah Highway Patrol's DUI unit has pleaded guilty to alcohol-related reckless driving. Fred Swain crashed his police cruiser into a concrete barrier in June 2006. A breath test at the time revealed his blood-alcohol level to be 0.11 -- in excess of the state's legal limit of 0.08.

Posted: 11:56 AM- WEST JORDAN -- The former commander of the Utah Highway Patrol's DUI enforcement team on Monday pleaded guilty -- for the second time -- to alcohol-related reckless driving for crashing his police cruiser in 2006.

2 p.m. Mar. 4 — The Guam Police Department will be conducting DUI checkpoints tomorrow and Friday. According to GPD spokesman Officer Allan Guzman the checkpoints will be on Route 1 and 14.
