HARRISBURG - State police troopers made a record number of arrests last year for driving under the influence, up 3 percent over the number of DUI arrests in 2006.

Kentucky logged just under 35,000 DUIs last year -- the most ever. A staggering number of those arrests involved second, third and fourth time offenses. Our latest Target 32 investigation takes a closer look at the repeat DUI problem in Kentucky.

UPDATE -- MAY 8: The daughter of the Valley's Cold Stone Creamery founders was sentenced Thursday to three and a half years in prison for a fatal DUI crash.

A former Riverside County sheriff's deputy who pleaded guilty to DUI and great bodily injury in connection with a Rancho Mirage car crash that seriously injured a 69-year-old man will be sentenced by a judge today.
