A man was charged with a felony driving under the influence offense Friday after he was arrested in Laurel and allegedly threatened an officer and tried to fake a medical problem. Timothy Jerome Goggins, 48, was charged in Justice Court with his sixth DUI. Judge Pro Tem Kris Copenhaver set bond at $10,000 and ordered Goggins to appear in District Court on April 14. State troopers arrested 76 people in Utah's first-ever statewide DUI blitz in a holiday weekend that saw several fatal accidents. In a new tactic, the Utah Highway Patrol sent an additional 174 troopers onto highways and interstates statewide with the specific mission of catching drunken.
