A Bakersfield Police Officer is on administrative leave after police say he was involved in an off-duty DUI accident early Tuesday morning.

The Nevada Highway Patrol, along with several other law enforcement agencies, will conduct area DUI checkpoints on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
