Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Cameron announced that the Traffic Safety Team will be conducting low manpower DUI checkpoints between Wednesday and Sunday, June 24-28. Deputies will stop traffic and conduct various test procedures looking for impaired drivers at multiple locations around the county.
Costa Mesa police will continue on their binge of DUI checkpoints next month, following two months of success and getting inebriated drivers off the road.
