Costa Mesa police will conduct a DUI checkpoint Tuesday night on Newport Boulevard.

Prosecutors formally filed a DUI charge Friday against a former harbor master of the Orange County Sheriff’s Harbor Patrol in Newport Beach.

Costa Mesa police will continue on their binge of DUI checkpoints next month, following two months of success and getting inebriated drivers off the road.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Friday night during Costa Mesa’s latest DUI checkpoint.

REDWOOD CITY — The Redwood City Police Department will conduct a DUI checkpoint July 2 in an effort to keep drunken drivers off the road. The checkpoint will take place in the 2500 block of southbound Middlefield Road, according to police.

The heat continues to increase through out the state of Colorado for DUI enforcement.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department announced that Patterson Police Services will hold four DUI checkpoints in Patterson in the coming weeks. The first two will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. on June 26 and 27. The other two will be two weeks later, from 7 to 11 p.m. on July 10 and 11.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will conduct a DUI/driver's license checkpoint from 6 p.m. tomorrow, June 26 through 2 a.m. Saturday.
