The Northern Nevada DUI Task Force on Wednesday recognized 26 peace officers who contributed to efforts to combat drunken driving and also fight underage drinking.
The numbers are in after the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office driving under the influence enforcement between March 12-18 brought in 13 DUI arrests. Compared to five last year, the numbers made a slight jump.
