Driver flips car on Hwy. 101, arrested for DUI
A crash on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa Sunday afternoon closed an off-ramp for two hours and landed a driver suspected of drunken driving in jail, the CHP reported. Driver Francisco Morales Castillo, 24, of Santa Rosa, was driving a 2003 GMC Envoy north on Highway 101 just before 2 p.m. when he took the off-ramp at Bicentennial Way.

N.Y. man charged with snowmobile DUI in Mount Holly
A New York man escaped injury but was charged with DUI after police said he slammed his snowmobile into a tree in Mount Holly. Police said Stephen Jerome, 20, was operating on a marked trail at about 4 p.m. Friday when his sled left the trail and struck a tree.

Police to conduct DUI checkpoint this weekend in KC
Kansas City police are planning a sobriety checkpoint this weekend at a location in the city known for DUI-related crashes and arrests. The checkpoint will begin after 11 p.m. tonight or Saturday night.

Fla. woman in PJs charged with DUI twice in 3 days
An Ocala woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence twice in three days. The Marion County Sheriff's Office reported that the 43-year-old woman was first arrested Saturday. She was booked into jail on a DUI charged and released later that day.

DUI crackdown nets 262 people in county
The holiday crackdown on drunken drivers over the first two weekends of the campaign resulted in a large number of DUI arrests in Riverside County, including seven arrests in Banning.

DUI, Child Endangerment Charges Pending In Crash
DUI and child endangerment charges are pending against a motorist driving a van that flipped early Monday on the Eisenhower Expressway, sending six passengers -- including two minors -- to the hospital.

DUI patrols in Dauphin County result in 6 arrests, 39 citations, police say
State police arrested six drunk drivers Friday in Dauphin County during a roving DUI enforcement patrol effort in the county. In addition to the six DUI arrests, police said they also issued 18 speeding citations, six citations for seat belt violations and 15 other citations.
