    The following is a list of some of the factors that Police look for when
    making a DUI arrest.

    Driving
    1. extremely wide or close turns
    2. weaving between or over lane dividers
    3. striking or nearly striking another vehicle or object
    4. extremely fast or slow rate of speed
    5. running a red light or stop sign
    6. stopping for no apparent reason
    7. following too close
    8. erratic braking
    9. abrupt turns
    10. headlights off
    Behaviors
    1. Odor of Alcohol
    2. Slurred or mumbled speech
    3. Slow reaction to directions
    4. Blood shot or watery eyes
    5. Flushed face
    6. Disheveled Clothing
    Physical Tests
    1. Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus HGN: (Tests Fine Motor Coordination of the eyes)
    2. Walk and Turn (Tests coordination while walking a straight line)
    3. One Leg Stand (Tests coordination while standing with one leg raised)
    4. Finger to Nose (Tests coordination while touching finger to nose, with eyes closed)
    Statements made spontaneously or after interrogation
    1. May be used against the Driver
    Breath/Blood/Urine
    1. Police may request that the Driver take a breath (Intoxilyzer),
      urine or blood test. Results may be admissible as evidence,
      and if .08% or higher, constitute evidence of impairment.
    2. Refusal to take the tests may also be admissible in evidence.
